The Powder Room

The Powder Room llc opened on February 2019.The owner Leah discovered her loved of all things beauty at a young age playing with barbies and practicing cutting their hair in her room and also watching her stylist behind the chair while dreaming of that one day being her. As a young pre-teen she started giving perms to family members and it branched out from there to haircuts and colors. She attended cosmetology college in 2007 in Wausau, WI at the State College of Beauty Culture and finished her degree after moving down to Madison, WI at Regency Beauty Institute. After completing cosmetology school with a Master Stylist status, she found herself in a beautiful salon for many years. Leah's dream came true February 2019 when she rented out a suite to run her salon business out of, naming that salon The Powder Room. Since then Leah has turned The Powder Room into just Facials, Body Waxing services and Wedding/Formal updo services. While she also works at a hair salon in Waunakee called HG Salon.
